These terms set out the conditions for using ddolbeng.com and the apps we run on it (“the service”). By using the service you accept them.
A set of games for children that run in a web browser. They are free, need no install, and contain nothing to buy and no advertising. Some offer an optional account link so progress carries between devices; nothing requires one.
The home page lists some apps under “Places Ddolbeng visits”. We made those too, with the same characters, but each is run as a separate website of its own. They are marked with ↗ and open in a new tab. These terms do not govern them: once you follow such a link, that site's own terms and privacy policy apply.
The service is built to be used by children directly. Settings, and anything that cannot be undone such as erasing progress, sit behind a three-second press-and-hold intended for a grown-up.
That check exists to stop a child pressing something by accident. It is not a substitute for a grown-up's supervision, and how long and where a child plays remains for the guardian to judge.
Unless an account is linked, progress is stored only in the browser's storage on the device you play on. In the following cases it cannot be recovered, and we have no means of restoring it either:
Where an app offers the optional account link, saving to a slot before any of the above is what carries progress across.
The characters, artwork, sound, text and software of the service belong to DDOLBENG. You are welcome to play; copying, redistributing or using any of it commercially without prior permission is not permitted. That the same characters appear in the apps listed under “Places Ddolbeng visits” does not mean anyone else may use them.
The service may change as it is improved. It may be suspended in whole or in part for operational or technical reasons; where we can foresee this, we will say so on this site.
The service is provided as it is. We do not promise it will run without interruption or be free of faults. Nothing here excludes liability for harm caused by our own intent or gross negligence.
If these terms change, the change and its effective date will be posted here. Changes that disadvantage users will be announced at least 7 days before they take effect.
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Korea.
